A man behavior 2
Mark: Good morning, Maggie.
Maggie: Oh, high, Mark? What's up?
Mark: Just saying hello as it has been a while. You still single?
Maggie: Oh, thank you for your care. Yep! I'm still and forever single.
Mark: Wow, why forever?
Maggie: I don't want to have a housemate as a spouse. Lone life is comfortable for me. Ah, but friends are welcome!
Mark: I agree, friends are always welcome.
Mark: I am guessing you have a LOT of friends.
Maggie: Not so many.
Mark: Many guy friends?
Maggie: Many guys and more girls.
Mark: Its nice to talk with you again, I thought you might not remember who I am.
Maggie: Wow, Mark, you're one of my friends, of course.
Mark: Ha ha, I do remember you have some nice friends.
Maggie: You're right.
Mark: When was the last time I saw you?
Maggie: Hmmmm... I remember I brought you to some bar around Tameike-Sanno station. Was it the last time? Then...10 years ago?
Mark: Yes, well after you introduced me to your friend.
Maggie: You mean Michiko?
Mark: Yes.
Maggie: I heard she got married and moved somewhere.
Mark: Oh, wow, lucky guy!
Maggie: Sure.
Mark: Ha ha, you don't sound so excited. Meeting someone single is not easy.
Maggie: Because I don't want to keep that kind of man. She is great to keep someone stay with her. I can't. How about you? You have someone to stay with you?
Mark: No, I am still single. No partner. Trying to meet single Japanese woman is difficult. There is no where to meet them.
Maggie: I guess you have free partners. Not steady. Tried to register any meeting(dating) sites?
Mark: No, no partners...not even free partners. No one since maybe 2014. Long time. Yes, I am on some Japanese dating sites...BUT...they are all full of Phillipine woman. Very few Japanese woman on them.
Maggie: Oh, that's...not good. Very few elite Japanese woman, right?
Mark: VERY few...
Maggie: It doesn't mean NO ONE.
Mark: Yes, but no one in their 50s...
Maggie: Younger than you?
Mark: Most are in their 20, 30s...its like single Japanese woman in their 50s just don't exist or are not online, or don't go out.
Maggie: Understood. Hmmm...almost of my friends are not single, nor partnerless, older than you. 10 years or less younger and single ones are strict.
Mark: Yeah, that seems to be the way things are here. Back to work now...I love rainy days and teaching. 1:30 lunch over.
Maggie: You teaching, good. Have a good rainy day!
